Few weeks ago Karen asked me to give her the personal shopper experience where I’d come to her home, and assess her wardrobe. The aim of this visit is to show her ways of mixing and matching the existing pieces and putting together outfits that suit her body shape. I also evaluated what additions she needs to her current wardrobe in order to maximise her choices whilst always sticking to her budget. So we hit the shops! Our first goal was to find matching tops for a number of floral skirts that Karen have collected over the years. They are flowy and patterned so their ideal match would be tops plain in colour and style. Karen has a defined waist, therefore the short / cropped tops we picked from “Cotton On” looked amazing with the skirts . They accentuated her waistline and showcased the lovely skirts as seen in the pics.
We also came across a gorgeous blue blouse tied at the waist (Myer). This shirt
goes well with casual shorts for everyday look but it could also be worn as a work shirt with a high waist skirt or pants.
Our last stop was at Target where Karen chose a cute tennis dress . It was stretchy, soft, comfortable and most importantly a bargain! It looked great on her. These kind of dresses are ideal to put on whilst running errands during the week or just to throw on a lazy weekend.
Three hours later, two coffee breaks and still with left over money, our mission was a success!
