Fashion sesh with this gorgeous gal Jodie. We had a coffee catch up to kick start our morning then headed straight to my place, where we picked 3 outfits from my closet. Hitting the right note in attire can be a bit confusing but we were both very pleased with the looks we pulled off.
After styling Jodie’s hair in beach waves and applying a bit of make-up and contouring (my forever crush) we started our dress up party.
I hoped to achieve for Jodie a casual look appropriate to wear in the mornings whilst running errands or to throw on her lazy afternoons!
Rule no. 1 is to ALWAYS wear something we feel comfortable in, rule no. 2 wear something that is actually comfortable! We may be able to put up with a bit of misery for fashion on a short night out where drinks could ease the pain- but never the whole day!
For the casual day look, I chose for Jodie white striped cotton joggers from my collection and a black t-shirt completed with white runners (both from Zara).
While she doesn’t usually go for this style, Jodie agreed it was super cool and comfy! There’s definitely a feel of trendiness to this look, and could be worn everyday by just changing the t-shirt. (eventually the joggers will need to be washed out !)
For a more refined casual look, Jodie dressed in short silk shorts (Tokito) paired with a burnt orange silk shirt ( Sportsgirl) and open toe gladiator high heels (Wittner). She definitely looks comfortable in what she’s wearing yet very polished. Love the colour palette on her and how this look accentuates her beautiful legs!! Winner look!
The last outfit we picked was classic and elegant appropriate for a dinner occasion. Jodie showed off in a double breasted blazer dress (forever new), sitting just above the knees. The fabric belt around the waist defined the waist line and flattered Jodie’s silhouette. We added a pop of colour with the burgundy necklace. Loving this night look as it has so much flare and sophistication to it!
