"Florals" love

Hi there,

As it turns out, it has been awhile since I posted!! Time flew by whilst occupied with the kids during the holidays (which I enjoyed so much but also enjoyed sending them off back to school last week!) I’ve also been busy picking my upcoming clothing collection.

Without any doubt, I’m a summer person. I just love the sun, the beach, the outdoors and the ease of dressing up. If I had to pick one group of clothes to wear all year round it would be summer fashion. Bright colours, patterns, florals! What not to like?

As soon as the sun is out, you will rarely see me in pants! I accumulated over the years many summer dresses which I wear regularly. My absolute favourites have to be the long lasting trend “florals” which have been in full bloom for years now. They are effortless, feminine, playful and sexy.

I’m particularly fond of the wrap dress style though. In my opinion, every woman should have at least one wrap dress in her closet. This classic is the perfect look for hourglass and apple shapes accentuating the right curves, athletic and pear shapes can rock this look as well.

Here are some pictures of floral wrap dresses that I wore over the last few weeks. There are some try hard selfies in here so enjoy!

In general, a larger floral print works for women who have a small to medium figure, otherwise I would stick with medium to smaller floral prints. That said, some women love to push the dress boundaries, which is amazing. If you are brave and bold you could carry any scale floral print as it would complement your personality. Go for it!

I also wore this short dress here, which is cinched around the waist without being a wrap dress. It simulates the same silhouette as the wrap dress but without the hassle of the wrap piece or belt.

Another dress I put on this summer was a maxi boho floral dress cinched around the waist with a little belt. Looks like a wrap dress bit it isn’t. This style of long maxi dresses seems lengthening and slimming.

With a straw hat and flats during the day, with high heels and lipstick on a night out, then a little cardie on top as a legit way to transition into the cooler days, floral dresses are a must have.

And just on the same afternoon I was writing my post, I bumped into the gorgeous Jodie at school rocking a short floral dress with matching coloured high heels!! Doesn’t she look amazing?

We’ll be taking out our cardigans and pants real soon, so let our feminine light weight floral dresses have their moment in the sun! They are on sale everywhere even more now that the new autumn collection started to make appearance on some retailers’ racks. I would start by TKMaxx as they have a huge variety on their racks at the moment also Myer Frankston outlet where all kind of bargains are found!
